There is no experience required for any of our kayak tours, as we provide a comprehensive orientation of our kayaks, with all of our tours and paddles, Memories are great and we make them easy to share with family or friends. Every memory will be yours to keep, with a personalized online photo gallery for your adventure. (photo release necessary)

A great way to get introduced to kayaking, start off with a brief introduction (aprox 20 mins) then onto the lake.

Paddle kayaks along breathtaking rocky shorelines, discover ancient petroglyphs hidden in plain sight..

When we find a spot you really like, you'll stop and soak up the sun, take pictures, swim or hike to a remote waterfall.

Bring along a picnic for a beachside lunch.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on any of our guided tours. Smaller children are required to ride in Tandem kayaks with their parents.

2 Hour or Sunset Paddle - Minimum of 2 people

Join us for a peaceful paddle as we meander along the shores of Kootenay Lake. Sunset kayak tours often watch the sun set spectacularly over the Selkirk Mountains. Catch the glowing tip of Mt Loki as the suns final rays cross the lake then gaze in awe as the sun disappears behind the mountains. Bring your camera and be prepared for the memory of a lifetime. This paddle is aprox. 2 hours long and includes a brief introduction to your kayak

Full Day Exploration Adventure Tour

(aprox. 7 hours includes online photo gallery of the day) Minimum 4 people. This is not recommended for children as it is a long day and a lot of paddling and hiking.

This kayak tour has an option to start early and finish in time for dinner or start later in the day.

We start off with our introduction then plan out the route. Weather may affect actual destination plan.

You'll paddle along the most scenic shores in the Kootenays, stop for a swim or hike or both / share healthy snacks / take pictures then..

Paddle on to our next stop, enjoy a delicious lunch, hike to a remote waterfall or continue our paddle around the lake and be back in time for dinner
